HI ladies, i was 33 weeks yesterday. I have an irritable uterus & am prone to getting BH's often. usually they have been crampy but today i feel like i am constantly tight & achy. My stomach isn't overly tight to touch, but after touching it, it aches like a cramp. Also the pain is right around & deffinately in my pelvis. tried lying down for a couple of hours even tried to sleep. only got an hour nap. woken up, moved, and they came back. nothing that i could time to say this is how far apart & when they peaking, but constant iykwim? This is my secod baby & my mum had her 2nd baby early. I'm really worried that since this has been happening since about 9.30am ish this moring, that mayb somethign is starting.... any ideas? or suggestions? or thoughts as to what it might be?

I know what you mean. Would a hot bath/shower help?

Chonny is it worth noting down just how many times it happens over the next hour and then call the mw - the worst she can say is its nothing to worry about, but I would be tempted to call her if it continues.

thing is fiona, it's not timeable. seems to be so constant. have had a warm spa (wasn't very hot tonight at all) & will sleep on the couch again tonight to get the back support & hopefully will be able to sleep. som of the pains are really bad & make me think things are happening & the rest of the time it's this constant tightness. if i'm still like this tomorrow then i will be calling the midwife. if for nothing else, just to let her know it's hapening.
