i used both bio-oil and cocoa butter religiously, and thought i'd gotten away with no stretch marks, but they became very apparent once the baby was out! unfortunately, it's down to your genes and hormones as to whether you get them, so nothing you can do! sorry for the bad news, but maybe you have non-stretch mark genes...

I think its down to your skin type and genetics. I have a tiger stripped belly, biooil and palmers cocoa butter made no difference lol

I tried everything, bio oil, palmers cocoa butter, even a homeopathic smelly formula and nothing helped, I got tiger stripes!! I think if you are going to get them, you are going to get them. The bio oil and cocoa butter did help them itch less though.

I used a really good body butter, but the thing with stretch marks is if your gonna get them your gonna get them, so I dont think anything really works.
Best thing you can do is just keep your skin soft and moisturised, cos the dryness will make stretch marks worse.

My mum is the same, 4 kids and not one stretch mark! i was lucky aswell as i didnt get one mark at all either.
I think it has to do with your genes and hormones aswell, they say if your mum didnt get them them yu wont get them, was true in my case.
