I went to the see our GP today for Caitlin (my baby has to go on a ventolin test as they think she may have my asthma ) she asked how we were going with our TTC plans as she knew it was from October. I told her about my variable luteal phase of 7-11 days and next thing I know I have a note in my hand to have CD21 and CD3 blood tests and a referal letter was being faxed off to Fertility Associates
She thinks my variable LP combined with the endo could have probably been the reason why it took so long to get pregnant last time, so the sooner we get professional help the better. She said there's about a 6 month wait for couples with kids, which is fair enough that we're not a priority, so that'll give us a couple of months on our own before we see a specialist to help us along with #2

I'm a bit shell shocked as I thought she would tell me to TTC for 6 months or so then look into getting refered, but she knows how long it took us last time and she's having issues TTC #2 also so I guess she took pity on us lol

And our admin lady anounced she is pregnant today! So now I have a major case of the clucks

Yay for your GP being so helpful.

, not so good with Caitlin.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Thanks Becks - My GP is the best in the whole world!
As for Caitlin, it was to be expected as I have it quite bad but better to find out this way and have it under control than for her to have an attack and us not knowing what caused it. Still pretty gutted though

Yay! That's great news :) I have the same two things as you endo and a short LP. How long did it take you guys to conceive? Did you have a laparoscopy or any fertility drugs?

it took us 18 months to get pregnant, we were just about to book an appointment at the specialists lol We weren't on any drugs at all at that stage. I had endo diagnosed after really painful ovulation and AF which was much worse since I had her. Had endo removed in March via laparoscopy (had D&C at the same time). I'm pain free now but cycle is still not quite right. My LP was 7-8 days though so it is better now.

That's good news! It must be great to have a proactive GP. Keep us updated with Caitlin's tests etc.

Oh no for Caitlin, but yay for tests!

Our GP was the same the other day Toni, I said we'll wait another couple of months and then get the referral for my specialist again, he was like 'Oh maybe not leave it THAT long'. I just love my GP (helps that he's family though!)
