oooh I set my alarm to go off at 6:55, 7:00, then 7:05 and I know if I'm still in bed and the THIRD alarm goes off I really have to get up.
My DF relies on me yelling at him after I get out of the shower as his alarm....

< language=> >LOL my husband sets his alarm for 6:50am every morning then he switches it off after Ive yelled at him to turn the **** thing off 5 times then he rolls over goes back alseep until I am booting him in the butt asking him what time is he getting up as its 7:15 or later & hes supposed to start work @ 7:30am and he cant possibly go to workout without a fag, coffee, doing his hair (which takes 10 mins in itself and he has short hair) using the bathroom incidently he is always late. He says its cause we live round the corner so I wonder what time he will be turning up after we move 20 minutes away? maybe lunchtime?

ARGH! mike does that too. I have the alarm on my side of the bed. The time on it is half an hour faster anyway - then it is set earlier than needed anyway. and yet somehow, we always end up running late. I have to get up amazingly early to have a shower before everyone else wakes. and i get out of the shower to find.... HIM still in bed and the kids not even up, and paris isn't dressed. so now - i have half an hour to get myself dressed, both kids dressed both kids brekkie as well as myself and get daycare stuff ready, bottles ready, and be ready ot leave by the time her has his extra long shower, has a shave and demands to know why i'm not ready whilst tapping his foot and looking at his watch. argh fricken argh.
sorry. i hate the alarm clock battle.

when i was working i had the alarm clock set 20mins fast...but i was late pretty much everyday
prob cos i'd say to myself 'oh well, it's actually only 6.50am not 7.10am so i'll hit the snooze button yet again!'
dean's pretty good at getting out of bed, usually hits snooze the once and then he's up on the next ring...something i can never understand

It drives me nuts that the odd morning Nat lets me sleep in, when I get up I find two grumpy kids who are still in their pjs (usually - Kiya often dresses herself without being asked) and who need breakfast. It's Josiah's grizzles that wake me up!
When I let Nathaniel sleep in, I dress Josiah, give both the kids breakfast, and they are playing happily when he gets up!
