Topic: Custom Printed Baby Clothes Anyone??? Posted: 19 June 2008 at 5:44pm |
I used to have a t shirt printing business a while ago and I still have all the gear. I was thinking about doing a few suits and shirts for lil Ash due in October and was wondering if anyone else might want anything done.
Here is a bit of info
They would be around $15.00 to $20.00 an item, T shirts, Body suits etc.
White is the best colour to print.
I will use my hot press and professional grade paper, they turn our REALLY well nothing at all like the do it yourself shirt printing that you sometimes see. The end result is really really good, not a thick print or anything, and they wash really well.
I can print ANYTHING at all. Any image or words or anything you can think of really. I made my first son SO many cute lil shirts when he was a baby with his name on etc. Also I sold to a few shops around New Zealand. (It was heaps of fun! )
PM if you want anymore info!
Now I have to have a think about what I want to do for myself.hehe. I might have a look around online for some inspiration.lol.

Sorry, dumb question, but when you say white is the best colour to print, do you mean the clothing is better white, or the image you print on it?

I would be VERY VERY keen on this.
You would be able to print complete images if I sent them to you huh - with both DH and myself being gamers, our baby is probably going to be one as well, so we need some cheeky geeky baby clothes!
I'll give you a PM when I get some designed up - also i'm guess i'd buy my own clothing and send it to you yea?

hehe, that sounds great (just quietly we are both um ahem kinda geeks too so I can totally relate)
Have a google there are some quite classic nerdy baby clothes. The image just has to be good enough quality that if you print it out on your computer at home it looks okay.
I can provide some nice baby shirts and suits etc. Thats included in the $15 - $20
Good luck finding some designs!!!!

Hi, thanks for the offer, I think that is a fantastic idea. I would be very keen, my husband is Dutch and they only every had grandparent bodysuits or t-shirts I would love something with Oma & Opa.
How do I go about ordering?
Very excited

Hehe. That bug sure got my 8 year old boys attention just then, he decided it was the best thing he's ever seen and wanted me to put it as a screeen saver??? lol.
Oma & Opa is a really cute idea
Thanks for the response, like I said, I am going to do it for myself so I thought I would put the offer out there!
This week I will sort myself out and let you know the EXACT cost for a shirt or suit and post it on here.
Oh and Kicker I can only do light coloured garments sorry!! And I like to stick to white as it is a million times better for the print BUT I can do bright colours.
Mrshouse, thats sweet! I am due in October and I am getting all the gear out in the next few weeks so it will be cluttering up my lounge for a few months yet.hehe.
