Onion
Garlic
Bit of flour
Red wine
Beef stock
Some pepper & salt
Cook onion and garlic until onion is clear. Add in approx 1tbls of flour and brown
Gradually add equal parts of red wine and beef stock, stirring as you go.
Season
When you get it to the required consistency, pour through a sieve into a jug and serve.
Hint: The onion is nice served on top of the steak, under the sauce but if you'd rather not, then just throw the onion away.
It's really easy! (totally made up but it works I promise)
