I developed GD in the last few weeks of my pregnancy with Josh (was only picked up 2 days before I had him).

Is it highly possible that when I have my next one I will get it earlier on???

If so is there anything I can do now to help it???

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'd say the best thing to do would be to make sure that your BMI is in the "normal" range when you get pregnant. And then ensure that your diet is as good as possible (not too much junk or cakes etc) during pregnancy.
