Tommee Tippee thermometer

I hate this thing. Trying to get Hannah sit still for 1 minute with it jammed under her armpit is near impossible!!

Anyway.
She had her 3 months imms yesterday and her puncture wound is a bit red and swollen.
She's slept 5.5 hours today (2 x 2.5 hour naps + 30mins) and has been really happy. She's not grizzly at all, but her temp (according to the thermometer) is 36.8.
My question is, who has one of these and still has the instruction book thingy (or a memory of what it says..).
DH and I have an idea that you should add .3 of a degree to the final reading when taking an in-the-armpit reading...

37.1 is still in the normal range of temps, but it's higher than what she was this morning (36.7 with the .3 added to it).

On the back of our thermometer it says ...

Underarm readings are typically .5 degrees below oral and 1 degree below rectal

I always just go by what the thermometer itself reads, without adding anything to it. When we've had the crazy-high, straight to the Dr temps, their ear thermometers were pretty much the same readings as what we'd had underarm.

ok i find the underarm ones easier than josh's ear one unless my boys temp is normally 25-30 hahaha he always moves his head before i get a reading and im too scared to hold it too hard to his ear.
