Hey ya Jax,
I always go by this link...
Link
And go to search down the side and type in progesterone and it'll come up with FSH as the result and there ya go

thanks wishin41, that helps. I think I need to ring my doctor and get her to explain it better to me, as I still find it all a bit confusing, & she might also be able to tell me if my day 21 bloods were normal or not.

I just got my results. My progesterone levels were 33.5 for day 21.
I'm finding it hard to interpet the chart lol.
Can anyone tell me if 33.5 was good for day 21. The nurse only said that ovulation 'was likely'.
Thanks.

I use this sit as a guide to what levels hormones should be with bloodwork done... maybe it'll help you understand all those numbers

Thanks Angiebabe, that is a great reference. I have just spoken to the nurse & she is going to send my results of both bloods out to me & she is also going to see if she can find me some range tables. So that will help me understand what everything does.

Well got copies of my bloodtest results from day 3 and it is very easy to read as Pathlab gives all the ranges and what they mean.

Nefertiti, this is what it said for:
Progesterone
0-5 Follicular
8-90 Luteal
0-3 Postmenopause
0-1 OC
0-6 Ovulation unlikely
7-25 Ovulation possible
>25 Ovulation likely
So I figure that I fall into the ovulations possible with my day 3 level of 13.1 and then the day 21 level of 29 put me into ovulation likely.
I think yours was around 33 if my memory serves me right so yours will definately be in the ovulation likely bracket.
Let me know if you want any of the other hormone ranges because Ive got them as well. Hope this helps

Thanks jax. I think my day 3 was very low like 0.something.....but i guess its the day 21 that means the most?
My doctor phoned and left a message on my answerphone this morning and said the results were good and that i definately ovulated. So to just see how things go from here.
