Hi everyone. A nice lady on the phone at the Waikato MMH recommended Omega 3 to me (I am weaning off one drug onto another) and she said it helps to lift mood while that is going on.
She said 2 capsules 3 times a day (2 with breakfast, 2 with lunch, 2 with dinner). Luckily I have a big jar of fish oil caps as I was taking them to see if they would help with sciatica.
She said some women only need the Omega 3 and can even come off the antidepressants!
Anyone else tried this? Anything that can help I reckon!
Yep I take them for pnd (well when I remember!). I am completely off meds and using natural remedies after having a massive allergic reaction to the third type of antideppresant I tried. Had only had mild reactios to the previous 2.
yep i have heard that all those you mentioned are helpful too Fiona! I just find flax oil is soo gross to take, dunno if u can get it in capsules tho,..but the actual oil is
Yeap you can get flax oil in caps. I tried fish oil once years ago and it seemed to give me migraines (ironic as it's supposed to help with migraines!)
