OK, so I am going to make the move to cloth!! Now I need to know if you can put any of the nappies in the dryer? I don't use a dryer at the moment, just the washing line and a rack inside. But winter could be a different story...

TIA

I think most MCN's can be tumble-dried, although it recommended that you line dry them as much as possible to have them last longer. I've occassionally tumble-dried my inserts if I'm desperate, but pocket outers dry in no time.

Thanks

Yep, I used to dry mine in dryer a lot as I only had a very limited number of nappies.

I'm not sure they recommend it but it didn't kill them!

I dry everything in the dryer and some of my nappies are now 18-odd months old and still going strong.

I use the drier when its raining or my washing almost gets dry but not quite.

It is possible to melt PUL if you use it on the hot setting though.. I found this out when Daniel was about 3 months old and had one stuck to the inside of the drier

My dryer is pretty crap but I use it alot more than I should for his nappies as I always get side tracked and dont get them on the line in time
