Jack's 4 months next week and is already sitting for periods of up to 10 minutes unaided, has begun teething etc and is just not a cute wee newborn anymore

How do I stunt his growth to keep him little forever? Or is this why people have more than one children?

I'm going to miss me wee baby, but man he's so much fun when he jumps in his jolly jumper and sits up staring at me. God he's gorgeous! If only photobucket wasn't down at the mo, I could load a pic on! Ooo, hang on, I'll load it onto our wedding site - check this clever boy out here

ETA sorry just a proud/terrified mummy moment!

You'll definitely have to have more though - after all you obviously produce geniuses

OMG Emma - he is divine...I could totally eat him up!
I actually like them more when they are older, so, how about...I give you my babies and I take the bigger babies/toddlers and we split them when they get to school?

cute..  and clever boy

I totally know what you mean. Since Ella has started walking she is looking more and more like a toddler and less like a baby. I am sooooo not ready to have a toddler in the house

He's adorable emz!

I had the same thing, my little one started taking steps at 3 mo (I'm not kidding, she is a freak - like her dad and my sister) so I pulled out the jolly jumper so she would learn to jump instead of walk, there was no way I was putting up with an early walker!!

He is just adorable. That is one impressive dribble (he's even good at that )

I know what you mean. I nearly cried when I had to readjust Livvy's OSFA naps up to the medium snaps.

mrsmojo - thats so good that someone elses baby was like that. DH keeps on taking him for little walks which he loves and it drives me nuts. I'm like 'don't encourage him, it'll only create more havoc' but he still does it!

The jolly jumper did the trick for a few months and all she wanted to do when standing was bounce. She didn't start walking around the furniture until 6-7 mo (I'd have to check her plunket book as I can't remember exactly but I know it was only a couple of months after she started crawling) and she didn't walk more than a few steps unassisted until she was a day shy of her first birthday.
