Yep its a course where they have a topic each week, and teach u stuff relevant to the babies age, in a baby friendly, casual atmosphere. Thats where I met my coffee group from. Now that we have move towns, Im hoping to meet new people at the pepe toddler course we start tomorrow!
ETA- we started the baby course when Isla was 3 weeks old. Was my first outing alone with her,..and it was in a thunder storm,...still very glad I went!

Yip, its for 2 hours for 4 weeks (so 4 two hour sessions). Very low key and no one cares about babies being aslepp or awake or grizzly. They then ask youif you wnat your details available for a coffee group. I now meet mine every week. Its heaps easier than your antenatal as you are all in the same area.

Kawww I found it fantastic. I met a whole heap of awesome mums and now 2 years on we are still going strong as a coffee group!!
Personally I didn't find the content of the course that fantastic as I had read heaps and researched heaps of stuff about babies so found that a lot I already knew, but will depend on the person running the course some will be better than others.
It was great being in an evironment where like peanut said it doesn't matter if your bub is grizzly or sleeping or awake or whatever. Then you can just chat to other mums aho are going thru the same stuff you are. I hope you have a great time and get to meet some great people.

Deb, ours were run through Parentcentre cos plucket didnt do it in our area. Were not called Pepe Course, but was the same. Called "baby and you" then later on "Moving and munching" for like 6 month plus,..then toddler one.

I just got back from Pepe group today. As the others have said it is very casual and if you havnt been out much it is great as people dont mind if your baby is screaming etc. I dont really learn that much but good for socialising and it is free. I take my baby rocker with me and Bella happily sleeps on that.
