has anyone else on here got a medical student assigned to their bubba? we responded to an advert and one was assigned to Ella....
just wanted to know how you were getting on with them and how often they came etc? and anything else to share....
for us the questions are quite interesting that we complete and Ella is sitting right up there in the high level of being above average which is nice to know....
our student is a little slack at times i think....i think he might have had a warning from the supervisor tho cause he had to let us know that he needs to come more often (we thought he should have been LOL) as he wasnt completing the right reports at the right times.
We had a student midwife when I was pregnant, which was great! The midwife I had explained everything very thoroughly for her and answered all the questions I had even if I didn't ask the questions!!
I had a student m/w with Maya, and had one at my last m/w visit but wasn't impressed with her, probably coz she treated me like a first time mother who knows nothing when I probably know about as much about giving birth as she did.

Ive just had a visit with my specialist. She was too busy to see me so instead I was seen by a med student. A very young guy who didnt even look 20yrs old. He asked a few silly questions like: "were the twins planned?" - I mean - can you plan twins? I felt a little uncomfortable with him being so young and I felt that the appointment was unnecessary as I knew a lot more than he did and was giving him info instead of him giving it to me. He couldnt find the heartbeats on a doppler and had to run off all the time to get his forms that he had filled out checked. I hope I dont have him all the way through this pregnancy.
if you find a way to plan twins let me know...will solve the dilemma of me wanting three but only being preggers twice! LOL
sorry i meant Uni medical students studying to be doctors - as in they follow the babies for a few years as to their development etc and use them for their class and have to do follow ups etc....
was kind of cute the other day cause ella climbed up onto our students knee and demanded he read to her....while he was saying does she do this and does she do that....LOL!!!!
