Hi Kawwww,
Off the top of my head, foods that upset my bubs were.....
Garlic, Tomatoes, Onions, to much dairy & pizza (to rich, damn it!)
Not sure about drinks tho? In saying that I did have a 'Shop made' latte early on (to kinda 'test the waters') and it upset him so I stayed away from all coffee for a few months.
Like you say everyone is different, I guess it could be a case of a bit of trial & error?
Hope this helps

stuff from the brassica family make wind....Brocc, cauli, cabbage, leeks, onions. Garlic and orange/friut juice esp pineapple can make for sore bums.
As a rule, I would say all in moderation, in regards to spicy, garlicy etc. If it has always been part of your fiet, tho, it shouldn't be a problem, however those brassica will still cause wind.
lots have trouble with dairy and choc, noticed with rashes/spots.

Not neccasarily, I don't think. Char got spotty if I had chocolate overloaded, and still does now. I think Bombshell had similar effects from chocolate? Not too sure why it happens, it just does.

It's okay to re-introduce those foods after the first 3 months, but do so one at a time, so you can tell if baby is still reacting to them. I had problems with tomatoes and onions.

Some books think that foods have no effect, and others mention cabbage/ broccoli etc. My Dr mentioned strawberries and chocolate as key foods to upset bubs. Anyssa is getting exzcema - and it seems to be after I have eaten chocolate - bugger!
If Ethan has spots it might be hormone spots/ baby acne - Anyssa was very spotty at his age.

The ones that stopped Lily's colic when I cut them out were onion (that was the hardest), broccoli, beans and cabbage (not that I ate that often).
I agree with DJ re the spots, Ethan is right at the spotty icky skin age.

at the hospital they told me everything in moderation so i have been ...even nuts which i didnt have when pregnant..he has red spots but i got told they were just normal..and they are clearing up.. ? I have several food intolerances ...so obviously avoid those foods..(peas, tomatoes mostly)
DJ- yeah so it seems there isnt much difference between spots caused by food and just spots at the mo.. i will carefully watch things though.. I ate several mallowpuffs over the last few days and he seems fine:) when does the icky spot thing clear up..its getting better but will it get worse again? i hate brocolli and cabbage.. and dont eat many beans..but onions will be hard:(
thanks everyone

The icky spot thing should clear in a few days, all babies get it, some worse than others.
Nothing seemed to affect Maya in my milk, it wasn't till she was older and we realised that dairy in my diet was causing her to have gastric bleeding
Who knows what upset the gremlins, EVERYTHING upset them! I cut out eggs, milk, peanuts and soy from an allergy perspective and still they refluxed and screamed non stop ad had awful wind and bowel motions. Weaned them onto allergy formula and all of a sudden all the symptoms disappeared. So it was obviously SOMETHING in my milk but who knows what?!
