Topic: vacuum cleaners are great..... Posted: 15 February 2008 at 10:37am |
for getting him off to sleep!!! Fantastic. And I cant hear the crying that goes with it He just woke from a very short sleep. Popped the vacuum on and voila....back to sleep within minutes! Oh, you are meant to clean with them??????? I neverknew that!
And apparently iron boards are good to crawl up and down if you raise one end.....and apparently good for turning breech babies.
Finally found uses for all this "stuff" in my house.

a friend of mine told me about this better use for vacuums, but added a ward of warning. She put her son down for a sleep and switched the hoover on, then went for a lie down herself. 2 and half hours later she woke up to the strained noise of the hoover motor burning out and the nursery full of hot air and very hot vacuum too. Little one slept on for much longer, but if she had slept any longer she thought it might have blown up. she needed a new vacuum not long after

Just out of interest what is NZWP?
And yes Vacuum cleaners are great for resettling bubba back to sleep, although mind you nowadays Lucas is HIGHLY fascinated with our Vacuum ...he stays put in the one place with his eyes fixated on it as I do my dash vacuuming the place! Soooo cute!

Our shower backs on to Lily's room, we have been known to time our showers with her naps so the sound of the water sends her off to sleep!
