Hi
I went to the Plunket Solids group about a month ago, and they gave out a list of what babies can and can't have when first starting solids. I have lost mine, so am hoping someone can scan and email me a copy of theirs?

I have been buying tinned stuff until now, but Oliver is eating more, so I want to start making my own. I went to the fruit & veg department last night, and the only thing I could think of making was boiled and mashed carrots. I think he'd get bored with that pretty quick!

So if anyone is able to help, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

i dont have the list but you can mash up kumara, pumpkin, potato (but i dont know many babies that like potato on its own) and any combination of veges. also the baby rice from the supermarket. avocado, banana (a great meal when you havent got anything else prepared).

And remember that babies don't get bored - so don't worry about that. we tend to put too many of uour feelings onto babies, lol. Also they have heaps mroe taste buds than us which is why the bland food we give tastes good to them.
