I never had a head down there but a butt lol and when that engaged I use to get a weird kind of buzzing pain whenever he moved about. Was most unpleasant

I just thought that you might be thinking bubs is breech from what I said so thought that I would add that it is probably more painful with a head engaged and that that probably is the pain that you are getting.

Hi MeganGrace

I'm starting to get some sharp pains in that general area too - would be keen to hear if they are part of the process too.

Yup it will be a combination of the head settling down there (can engage anytime from now, but there are plenty of nerves for it to choose to rest on in the meantime, or so I found ) and general muscle stretching/loosening. Bring on the waddle! You'll probably soon find it's the most comfy way to walk LMAO!!!

yep, and bubs can bounce on your cervix. I think the bouncing on it helps tell it to get ready to dilate. They are sharp stabs arent they?

Olivia used to kick or have a nasty set of the hiccups on my cervix and it was like electric shocks She was a breech but I know this isn't true for everyone that feels this.

I had those pains, and they were Sams knees as he was in a praying breech position. Knees grinding into the pelvis isn't fun! I'm pretty sure it's normal for everyone, not just breech babies.
