ok over the past year or so I have been doing the odd babysitting for a friend (she does pay me)

now I am wondering at what point should I tell her I wont be available for a while I am 31 week pregnant. at what point would you say sorry I cant baby sit anymore (least not till after the baby is born and even then it maybe a while)

I think any time from now is acceptable - she must appreciate how hard it is on your body to be pregnant and how tired you would get.

I bet she's probably expecting you'll mention it when it gets too much for you but waiting for you to take the lead as you know when it's getting too hard.

I would be very suprised if she's counting on your availability after the birth - does she know your EDD? I would recommend that you organise to call her when you're happy to resume duties again rather than set a date (like 2 months after) so that you can gauge it once the baby's here.

yup she knows my EDD I am babysitting for her tonight granted her children will be in bed when I get there so I will just be watching TV.

well I didnt end up babysitting for ..my friend was sick so not sure when she will ask me again depending on when she does I will make the call and decide if I want to or not.
