I'd eat it, definitely. But then again I ate pretty much anything when I was pregnant, as long as it was food-safe, like cooked and fresh.

Me and DP always have arguements he says the baby will learn to toughen up and not to worry just eat it. I am pretty lax on what i eat its more reheated meats i really avoid but cos of all the warnings my mind gets the better of me sometimes by putting me off what ive been craving as soon as i get it.

Im glad the general consensus on this is that its safe though i have refused to let DP buy steak cos well done is sacralige it must be at most med rare!!!

Sorry to get off the steak subject but what is the big deal with eggs? I can only eat eggs with runny yolk but was told thats not properly cooked. Is that true or can i go back to my fav poached eggs on toast?

(Please ignore all spelling mistakes to tired to even try get it right today)

nah runny eggs defintely seem to be a no no

'Raw eggs or any foods that contain raw eggs should be avoided because of the potential exposure to salmonella. Some homemade Caesar dressings, mayonnaise, homemade ice cream or custards, and Hollandaise sauces may be made with raw eggs.

If the recipe is cooked at some point, this will reduce the exposure to salmonella. '

That's what most websites say... I am soooo missing my runny eggs too..and ham and sushi!!!!!!!!!

I asked my mw this and she said if your body wants it eat it, so long as its cooked a\on a very hot pan and not overly rare then your all good.
When I had HAleigh I was told to over cook my steak and it just doesnt taste right cooked like that lol.

You can eat sushi if you make it yourself and it doesnt have raw fish in it, as I found out after I spent 2 pregnancies hard out cravign the stuff.

I have had steak/meat cravings too, but well done steak is a waste! I think as long as it not bleeding, just pink and hot, its fine.
