Topic: strange pain Posted: 28 July 2007 at 1:36am |
hi all,
df and are ttc #2 and i was due to ovulate yesterday. df and i have been bding like made and today i have felt really sick and i have a funny crampy feeling in my lower belly.
is the pain something to be worried about or could it be that i am now pg?
i have had my normal ovulation cramps that i get the day before i ovulate but this pain is kinda a new pain.
with tash i felt really sick from 2 days after she was concieved(well after the mw worked out the conception date. i just thought i had been feeling sick cos i was so tired) ao i have all these hopefull thoughts running thru my head.
any advice or comments would be great thanks.

I guess there's probably too many reasons Probably all you could do is wait it out for a few days, or (or get impatient and test ).

do you think you may have already been pregnant? If so, do you have any other common signs!?
Yay if you are, but otherwise just let your body do what its doing - I have had some weird pains since I ovulated last month - but I think that they are just aches that I have and am looking far too deep for an explaination now that I am aware of my body more due to TTC etc

i had my iud taken out last friday so i am pretty sure i am not already pg.my cycle was the same with out my iud as what is was with my iud so that rules that out i think.
thanks for the comments though ladies. i will see how i am feeling next week and if the sick feeling continues i will def be buying a couple of hpts.

Then I wonder if your system is "rusty" and it's something to do with everything getting back into routine after IUD?

Could it jsut be that everything 'down there' is getting used to not having the IUD in place? I had something similar when I had a 'dounut' put in place to hold a prolapse. Well the thing was hopeless so they took it out, but things down there took a wee while to come right. Plus your womanly parts are quite delicate, and can lead to feelings of nausea quite easily.
Sorry I couldnt be much help, best wishes tho!

thanks ladies.
the nausea comes and goes. so i am thinking that things might be a bit rusty and crampy and out of umm sync.
oh well i will see how things play out over the next couple of weeks. but cant blame a chick for getting her hopes up lol

I'm feeling sore atm too. I'm not nauseous but very sore in the abdo and took some panadol last night. I've had the pain on and off since Friday but it seems to be getting worse. Got a BFN, I can't work it out either!

Feels like you're recovering from a great big punch in the abdo?

That's what I've had. Last night I doubled over when I tried to stand up. This morning it feels particularly sore on one side. I dunno why it is though. My AF should be due today but my temp is too high.

Yeah, ive doubled over in pain when I stand up a couple of times today. Its like it comes in waves of painfulness (if that even makes sense ) Im not due for AF until the 14th or 15th.

i just had some cheese on toast for lunch. and lets just say i tasted it twice i thought to law of gravity was what goes up must come down, not what goes down must come up.
i hope i am pg. every time we bd df turns and asks if i am pg yet as soon as we are finished. middle of calving is not the best time to be bding as he is sooo tired anyway. but he told his boss we were ttc #2 so the boss knows why df is extra tired
