Poor you! I had really dry skin throughout my second pregnancy and had to keep slathering the moisturiser on to stop it from cracking. I also found I couldn't use anything perfumed as it just seemed to make it worse.
Lipobase cream worked best for me, and also keeping up the gallons of water intake.
You might want to mention the stinging hands to your midwife though, as it is ringing alarm bells as a possible symptom of something????
Sorry that's not very helpful, good luck chicka!

Aww that sounds sore I find my hands in particular get drier than usual in winter.

Maybe you had a reaction to the moisturiser you used? I am now using an Aveeno one as it is frangrance free and very moisturising. Might be worth a try?

Go to the chemist and get this stuff called "Aqueous Cream" its a really good cream for dry skin, I use it cos I get bad dry skin, and I also use it when I shave my legs its great and its made for sensitive skin aswell and puts a barrier on your hands to stop water and stuff making them sore and more dry. It comes in a big tub and it will last ages.
