as at 1.28pm....
Terrortot accomplishments for the day
1) eaten tropical fish food....sorry, missed a step... climbed up the fish tank, onto a unit over a metre high to then stand up on tip toes to reach the fish food that was on top of a DVD shelf on top of a unit....
2) spread fish food all through carpet, thereby replacing vegetable stock smell in vacuum cleaner (from an earlier toddle adventure) with fish food smell (1 and 2 were done while Mum was putting younger brother down for a morning nap)
3) raced outside the locked side door, which he can now reach and unlock while Mum was busy feeding younger brother making the feeding stop which started the little brother screaming and ensured that Mum's yelling was able to be heard through all of the East Coast Bays, not just the one we live in while she chased after the toddle.
4) BROKEN cute pooh bear plate by throwing it from high chair onto the kitchen floor while Mum DARED go to leave the room to go to the loo.
5) Screamed from high chair while aforementioned Mum had to sweep, vacuum and then mop the kitchen floor to clean up the mess from the broken pooh bear plate and dinner that was left
6) Encouraged younger marooned brother into chorus of screaming while this all happened.
7) Driven mother completely around the bend.

Toddle is now in his cot and waiting for collection... anyone game (you'll need a box or two of tissues, toddle comes ready with head and chest cold and a huge supply of snotty nose dribblings)?

I tell you, next Wednesday and his first kindy session can't come fast enough.

I had one of those days on Wednesday so I know how you feel. We ended up with a broken glass, plate and bowl., Then he decided at 5pm he was tired and went to sleep on the chair. That was after he was a noisy boy at Andie's place.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

It's 3.44pm and he's lying on the floor outside one of the many toddle barriers (kiddie gates) we have around the house groaning because he can't get through to the kitchen. He has refused to sleep today with all of the excitement (or possibly fish food going through his system), so I figure that he's not breaking anything, he can grizzle there until his dad gets home....hope he's not like this on Sunday for his birthday party!!!
