Last month AF arrived a week early and was only 3 days normally at least 5 days... This month I was due on the 14th going by how all my last cycles go 26-28 days been like this the last year.. So its been 8 days now done 2 hpt both negative (first response) have had lots of muscus and aches felt as AF was comming never showed still waiting...My question is how long do you wait till you go too the doc for a blood test bearing in mind I dont really have the dollars too spend on a blood test at the moment

Have you recently come off the pill or anything? That can cause things to be unsettled for awhile.. Otherwise I'm not sure. It's hard in that kind of situation- really just a waiting game! If you're concerned it would be good to go to the dr when you can. Lots of things can cause your cycles to be a bit irregular and they might be able to pinpoint what's going on

You can go to a family planning clinic- they are free if u under 25 and cheaper than dr if u have community services card. Ive found seeing the Dr there really good for gynae/period/ttc stuff.

I'm over 25 too.. 9 days late now and another negative test this morning..Think i'll have too bite the bullet and go too the docs if its not here by friday.

You could ring the clinic and speak with the nurses to see what you can do. I know they take BTs so you can bypass the doctor altogether much cheaper that way but if its pregnancy is should be free anyway!

kycas - there are thousands of swimmers in just a single drop of precum. The withdrawal method is not a pregnancy prevention method so if your not UTD and don't want to be then I'd suggest getting some other birth control method.

Go get a blood test to be sure, I've heard of lots of woman who have gotten negative tests POSing.

Hello,I am new to this Forum thing and I am really wanting some advice. I had a mirena removed in July 2011. In nov 11 I had a miscarrage so am obviousley ovulating some months ( I have PCOS). Got my period normally in Dec but have not had it this month (jan) and am just about due to get feb's period but it isnt showing any signs of coming. Have had 7 negative preg tests. Also didn't have any Cervical mucus when i was ment to be ovulating in Jan but had some a week and a half later. Any thoughts??? Thank you
