Just out of curiosity.
Who has used what brand and how early did you get a positive?
Also what symptoms did you get and how early and then had the long wait till you could test to confirm what you already knew?
Look forward to reading your responses.

first two times i used the brand that they use at the doctors those little kinda square ones, bfp cam eup straight away, with paris was a week late, with ayja was the day i was due for AF. both were quite light but definately there.

With paris, i had probably no symptoms i thought, was completely surprised and not expecting a positive test staring back at me!.. but was quite tired, thirsty as and had been eating like ahorse.. was working long hours in the lead up to xmas so would come home and make a plate of 20 snax crackers with luncheon and cheese on them and polish them off, was also cooking amaingly stupid amounts of minted baby peas to eat. lol.

Ayja i was sick, i had back pain, i felt gross and i just had that "feeling" from about a week and a half before was due for AF

This time, i was late, and as i got later i got nauseous, but had been having stupid cycles so didn't thinki could be, (i do sometimes feel a bit nauseous int he lead up to AF anyway crazy enough) but on the day i took the test was overwhelming urge to be sick andit stuck through till about a week after i had the scan and found baby had no heartbeat and stopped growing. I woke up one day and the Ms was gone.

This last one, was a clearblue 1 test kit from the supermarket, took all of 2 seconds for the second line to appear but then was already just over 6 weeks then i think.

Thanks.
I guess I am just looking for some hints or reassuring signs.
I had aches in ovary area after ovulation. I only know this because I have been charting. Any way, I have been feeling tired, nauseaus, hot flushes, a little bit light headed. I haven't felt like this with my last pregnancy. But I am wondering if I just want to be pregnant so much I have created it all for myself. I am not due for af till sunday.
I know I am just over obsessing.

I took on eof those ones you can buy from the supermarket thta you can use from 3 days before af is due? First response I think? Got a faint line on that about a week before af was due this last time after an "im not too sure is that a line?" result on the clear blue the same day. Godd luck, Ihope you get the result you are after!

I got one from the supermarket too, and used it 2 days after I was due. First time the second line was really faint so tried it again two days later and had a more definite 2nd line.

I figured something was up because I'd felt 'off' since new years eve, and kept saying I was pg but didn't do anything about it for another week.

I had a HPT purchased over the internet that showed up a faint line 11DPO (approx. 3-4 days before expected AF). I then used the Discover brand HPT bought from a pharmacy at 12DPO (2-3 days before AF) and the 2nd line came up very clearly.

This has only just happened for me so no real signs of pregnancy yet, about the only thing is a little nausea.

I used the square kind the doctors have with Maya (called Quickcard I think) and with the gremlins the first one was a First Response then I did just about every type on the market to confirm it in the first few weeks

With Maya I had no idea, except AF was late, with the gremlins I just had this sneaky suspicion even tho I knew we hadn't BDed on O day.

For me, the First Response pee in a cup ones came up way darker than the Clearblue mid-stream, so I'd recommend getting them... they're cheaper too.

So I got a faint positive when my period was about 3 or 4 days late, but first response was much easier to see.

I'd also get the 3 pack, cos it works out cheaper and even if you do one test and find out you're pregnant, you'll want to do more to make sure!! (Yep... this is the lady who did six... and still didn't believe it until the doctor did the seventh one lol).

All the best

Arohanui, I did the same as you a couple of weeks ago. Go First Response!!!! I did two that night, because I thought I did the first one wrong. I still have one left. But my line came up dark. Mind you, I was 5 weeks and 5 days preg.
