Hi ladies
We're planning ons tarting TTC no2 in March. I seem to remember that when TTC no1 it was reccommended you take folic acid for at least three months prior to pregnancy. Today at the pharmacy I noticed that on the back of both elevit and a plain folic acid supplement it said take for one month prior to pregnancy.

Has the advice changed??

Most advise is still 3 mths prior, you can get it on prescription from your Dr. It's way cheaper.

Three months is what I thought. And I agree, get it on a script and 3 months worth is only $3.

Yep 3mths, and if you want to buy Elevit rather than straight folic acid, buy it from Pharmacy Direct online :) way cheaper than elsewhere!

NetPharmacy is also really good for supplements. They are the cheapest I've found.
