Hi ladies,

We had a mostly good 20w scan today, apart from the fact that our wee baby has bilateral choroid cysts.

Both the sonographer and my midwife are not bothered,as we had a good nuchal/blood (1 in 18,000), and no other "soft" markers, but if your baby had them, I'd love to hear your positive stories :)

My 8 month old had one at the 20 week scan. She also had no other soft markers, good NT at 12 weeks, clear amnio... and she's perfect now :) I did a lot of research on them when I found out she had one, and I really don't think you have anything at all to concerned about. A lot of drs seem to think they are actually just a part of normal development which are being seen more now due to increased and improved scanning...

Thanks Freckle, that's what my research showed too, but it's still been an up and down day!

Just to check in in case anyone else searches for CPCs in the future. Our wee man is 2 weeks old today, and does not have trisomy 18- just thought I'd add another positive story to the collection!
