Topic: NB using Baby Jogger City Select Posted: 28 September 2011 at 10:20am |
I did a search and found a few people have this pram. I have bought one with just the one seat for now but will get a second seat for the new baby. I really don't want to have to fork out anymore money to get a bassinet which will only be used a couple of months so I was wondering if anyone has put their newborn straight into the normal seat and if it was ok? Other people have told me to get the carseat attachment instead but a capsule is more upright and in more of a sitting position than the pram seat so doesn't make sense to me I probably won't be going out and about tooo much in the first few months anyway so I can't imagine it will be for long periods of time.

I love my baby jogger!
Used it from newborn with no dramas, just lowered the seat as flat as possible.
If you are worried about the head moving about then either roll up a long towel to keep bub's head in place, or find a newborn head support thingie.
Definately not worth spending money on any fancy attachments

We have a baby jogger city elite and love it and have used it from day 1... well week 2 just lowered it as flat as poss.
Not sure if it is in the current one but in the bounty book for pregnancy there was a voucher for a free liner for baby joggers purchased.

Awesome, just what I wanted to hear, thanks guys And Aroha, thank you so much for that, I just looked in my bounty book and there is a voucher there. It expires 1st Dec though and we probably won't have the 2nd seat by then but at least I'll be able to get one liner! Yay, love free things!
