Topic: When did you... Posted: 01 May 2007 at 8:09pm |
Okay, not too sure where to put this post, so will put it here..
When did you get a BFP? I am on 19DPO (or there abouts, not taking temps just based on previous cycles) and i've had 2 BFN...
Have made an appointment with Doctors for Thursday so if AF still hasn't appeared I can get tested there and if it has well, I need some more folic and am sick of paying for it - might as well get it on prescription if I can.

Just to let you know, my friend never got any BFP's, but she got her + through a blood test. Even 2 weeks after her + blood results, she took another HPT just to see, and it was still a BFN. Some people it just doesn't show up with. Hopefully you're one of them and I wish you all the best for a BFP at the docs!!

Yeah some people can take a long time to get a positive on a HPT or never get one at all.
Good luck though!

from memory it was 16 dpo and it was a weird BFP. I only got the vertical line (the one that confirms the BFP) no horizontal
Good luck at the Drs!
Btw - I didn't know you could get folic acid for free?!?!?

It seems so different for everyone. I tested 4 or 5 days before my period was due and got a BFP.

I also got my folic acid from the Dr's for $3 and didn't have to pay to see the Dr as it's free maternity care for the first 12wks and I got my BFP about 2wks after AF was meant to arrive.

ok, so i've probably lead some of you wrong with the comment about Folic Acid - I've been told it is cheaper on prescription from the doctors not necessarily free .
And as for the other thing....well i am now getting a little marking (not dark or red, just coloured) every now and then when going to toilet (sorry TMI) so am guessing AF will be around the corner...
Thanks for all your wishes though they are greatly appreciated.

Ug. Bollocks.
I had something similar happen to me around my 4th cycle post-op. All of a sudden, I had a longer cycle, and they stayed that way for a couple of cycles, and then this month, it jumped back to a 28 day cycle again.
Until you start properly bleeding though melly, there's still hope.
I'm thinking of you
