what would you pay for face painting?

im just wondering wether it would be worth my time setting up a little stall outside the local dairy for Halloween... they really get into the spirit of it and decorate it and give out lollies, and is in the centere of out little village so gets lots of foot traffic

Depends if you do a whole face. Like a tiger, i would charge $5

But if its just a small butterfly on each cheek id charge $2

Probably only a gold coin, and something small so you get through lots of kids.
Two little girls under 2!

$5 is probably the average price in NZ, $3for quick cheek art. You couldprobably get more for fancier faces around haloween ( that is probably what I mostly end up doing).

There are a few things you may want to consider before starting though. Have you painted faces before? It's not quite as easy as it looks to get a decent looking face. You need to make sure you have the right type of paint to, not the cheap stuff that you can pick up at any old craft store. This is awful on the skin!

If you know what you are doing then it can be a lot of fun. Especially at Haloween. Imagine how fun it would be in a country like the US.

You can find lots of useful tips on this Face painting blog

Io would say that face painting has changed a lot since you were a child. You get a lot better quality for your money!

WOW Daizy, your's are AMAZING.
I envy anyone who can translate a picture in their head into a picture for others to enjoy, and even more so when they can do that on a moving canvas.

I would totally hire you if you were in Dunedin

Holy crap, Daizy! Those are amazing!
I'd pay more than five bucks for that!

I was an ice block once.
I hated having to think on the spot what I wanted.
