Thinning of the uterus

i have this in pregnancy, but thought i'd also try it in here...
has anyone had this? with DS2 my uterus thinned right down to paper thin. am now almost 10 weeks pregnant with number 3, and have to go under a specialist but won't see them until most likely 12 weeks or so. can anyone fill me in on what happens from here? i.e. extra appointments or scans? earlier than normal c-sect? also, would that automatically make me high risk? thanks
