Of course these is risk of infection but that risk is there breastfeeding or not! Probably wait till your well established with breastfeeding but it is fine :)

I actually asked a local tattoo store what they recommended and they said it was fine. I was hoping to get one for my birthday but we'll see... I think I might want a Manduca instead
hey pillow-fight i got a tattoo when Amelia was about 5 months old and fully breastfed , i was just told not to breastfeed for a few hours so i had some expressed milk handy . i think it was to do with the adrenolin you get in your system when you get tattoo'd . good luck! what are you getting ? i cant wait to get my next one ... just gotta save up my $$$
Yay! i have Amelias name on my back with a "daughters" verse around it written in the shape of a heart i LOVE it , def my fav tattoo (i have 3 ) its special having your bubbas name on ya .
