DS is usually in cloth but a disposable overnight and the occasional daytime if its a big trip out or they're all wet! He was in sposies full time when he was a little bubba for about a month. Lately though they have been making him bright sunburn red around the leg and waistbands. I thought i was making them too tight, though it wasnt leaving marks but now he is sunburn red all over his bum as well. We havent changed brands (always have used huggies or treasures) and he certainly didnt react like this as a NB. We use cloth wipes and no creams.

Is it possible his skin is getting more sensitive? Are there any brands reccomended for supersensitive bubbas?

The red goes away quite quickly and it doesnt break into a rash. While the problem is solved by cloth nappies its not always practical for him to wear them and the daycare he's listed for flat out refuses to use cloth so need to find a solution..

I find that DD does that occasionally when she's in sposies. Sometimes I think that it's heat rash as she gets hotter in sposies than cloth. I only use huggies when in sposies as she gets rash with other brands. When she gets red like that I make sure that I change her more frequently and give nappy off time.

DD has super sensitive skin and we've found that Huggies are terrible for it (she breaks out in nappy rash). We're using AirPlus nappies which you buy online and don't have any problems with them. Moltex Eco are also good, though pretty spendy. If it's disappearing when the nappy is off though it does sound suspiciously like it could be heat rash rather than a specific reaction? Fingers crossed!

Where are you buying these airplus nappies Ceres, can you give a link? Not too fussed on cost as its only 1 per day but the one he spends the longest in so like it to be comfy! If its heat rash perhaps a different brand won't cause him to sweat/rash anyway.

I buy them from babyonline here. They've been absolutely wonderful for A. They do sample packs so maybe you could order one of them first to see if they'd work for Max? (Because otherwise you have to order them in quite large quantities).
