Hi everyone.

I am currently on the Depo injection and have been on it since about October/November 2010. I was on the mini pill from June - Oct 2010 and Depo from April - June 2010.

I am coming off Depo when it wears out in approximately 2 months time and am currently exploring my options on contraception afterwards.

We would like another baby sometime in the future but that will probably be at least 2 years away...

I was thinking of charting to see what my body is doing although I know this isn't fool proof and 'accidents do happen' so if I was to chart to see what my body is doing... Where do I start? Where do I get all the bits and bobs/accessories/tools from??

Any other advice anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated or has anyone else used it to track cycles or as a form of contraception?

Thanks in advance.

The only things you really need is a BBT and a chart it can take a couple of months to get an over all picture of what your cycle is doing.

Depends on how fertile you are and how good your partners swimmers are some women are only fertile a couple of days before and on OV and some of his swimmers can last for up to 1 week in the right environment (inside you being one of them).

Good Luck let us know when you're UTD!

Haha, thanks for the advice C&J, I wouldn't have a clue how fertile we are but know the exact dates Lily was conceived etc.

If you do chart it will only be successful if you have a regular cycle, so I would prob use condoms for the first couple of months to make sure you know when your oving and how fertile you are before hand so you know the times to avoid, otherwise you will end up PG! But it is totally do able to use charting as contraception
