I do know there are a few speech therapist on here, hopefully they can answer that for you. Good luck for the 16th.

I'm a SLT Sheza - is this his first therapy session, or first session (i.e. assessment session)?

They'll do a lot of talking with you to learn more about Caden and probably play some games with him to see how he communicates through play etc.  A lot of the time the SLT will be teaching you as well, leaving work sheets for you to do until the next visit.

Yup, lots of talking with you, finding out what the issue/s is/are from your perspective, finding out about Caden's development, talking to you about all of his speech and language (verbal, nonverbal, expressive, receptive) ... Playing/interacting with Caden (and you) to get an idea of what's happening in terms of his speech and language - strengths as well as areas for development. Then they'll talk to you about their impressions and what the plan is from there and will give you some tips for how you can help him in the meantime.

Like say point to doll etc she watched Bella bt Bella didn't say much so they sugguested a group thing. She's learning sign lanuague there and they do singing which Bella loves. They do pointin to objects like speech therpist will hold two objects and say for example ball and Bella has to grab the correct object etc. Isabella can say mum,dad has said nana b4 but she's very quiet she points at things she wants. She's 21mths old 2day.
