Just a wee heads up...
Im not sure if you even think about it, but spamming your entire freinds list with "vote for me" and tags for baby gear competitions is very annoying....And sometimes hurtful too.
I do love all my FB friends and know them all too, but soemtimes some just push it a bit far...
A good friend of mine today had her wall posted on and then the spam "liked" by a serial offender...which I guess is par for the facebook course, however it was a link to win baby stuff etc, and said friend has fertility issues and they are well known issues, so a little heartless..or if not heartless, then thoughtless...
Please guys, before you post on peoples walls have a wee think....does this person have children? Would they be interested in voting for this or that etc? They have school age children would they really be interested in that?
If you think hmmm maybe not it pays to err on the side of caution.
Facebook is an awesome medium for sharing all your little ups and downs, photos etc, but sometimes....

I understand excatly where you are coming from. i block these now, but it is such a hassle to have to block. if you know what i mean.

Yea, me too. I have no issues with voting for my close friends - but it's just annoying to get stuff from every Tom, Dick and Harry I know on FB.

I just block them now .. I don't want to vote for every child in the universe, I also do not want to like every wahm's pics so I can go in a draw to win something I don't want.
I pick and chose who I ask to vote or like certain things .. my friends come from all walks off life, some have kids, others have none, others want them etc etc so sending links to everyone would make me look like an idiot.

Totally agree!!! I hate it when half my news feed is taken up with "vote for me" kinda stuff... I never vote unless it's a close friend...

Those friggin poll things are driving me nuts at the moment! I had TEN from the same person on my feed yesterday one after the other and you cant block those damn things yet..

I only ever did the 'vote for my baby' thing for a week while he was up for the huggies tv promo, but I try not to overdo it (he missed out by 12 places anyway)
Definitely dont like being spammed repeatedly by same person over random 'prizes' I have no interest in!

Ugh i never vote for anyone in those things. I think it is just the most ridiculous thing ever - 'vote for me, vote for my baby'.
It's just marketing doing it's thing.
Thank god my fb friends must be the same cos i don't get spammed by it, maybe i blocked it all ages ago, when i blocked all those silly apps.

On the left hand side of your home page there is a "Questions" option.
Click on the little 'X' next to it and then pick "Never".
