Go to a couple local schools and ask if you can set up a display in the staff room one lunch time. We had a lady do that at our school and she got heaps of one-off orders and a couple parties. (teachers generally loooove Tupperware)
Good luck!

Mmm Ive done it (havnt offically quit yet), but I found they sucked me in by saying it was 4 hours for a party, never mind the hour to order stuff, and the hour to sort it out and ring people etc..
Ive heard of people wearing their name badge at the supermarket and just dropping it in to convos.. oh hey! I havnt seen you in ages, did you know Im a tupperware demonstrator now? oh you didnt? You should get together a few of the girls and I can show you all the latest products... blah blah blah
The school drive is also a good idea
GL!

My friend sells and sucks people in without them noticing.
Like she comes to coffee group with her DD's lunch/wipes/nappies/toys/EVERYTHING in nifty little containers and stacks them all on the table while 'searching' through her bag for something then makes an offhand comment about how awesome a certain container is for containing raisons or whatever.
Someone will always say 'ooh where'd you buy it' and then you go OH! i sell them, i'm having a party in a few weeks you should come!

I just started doing parties for Nutrimetics in February & basically I asked my friends to hold a party for me, I had a special gift for them for doing it for me And I asked my friends that didn't want one if they knew someone that would like to hold one. It is hard, but you really need to put yourself out there and step out of your comfort zone.
Also ask at playgroups etc, everything you go to.

I like the likes of nutrimetics over tupperware if you were looking at selling stuff becasue nutrimetics etc is "repeat custom" where as once people have all thier tupperware, thats it.
I LOVE tupperware, but just can't justify the cost when it may not be so easy to recoup the money spent etc. I looked at selling it a couple of years ago, but it seemed like quite hard work (and I worked in retial for a long time so lots of experience) and I really just wanted to "cruise".
