Just for a bit of a different thing, Has anyone had dreams about the gender they were having and found it to be correct or not?

Or did you feel that you were having a certain gender and were right or wrong?

With DD, I knew from about 12 weeks that I was having a girl, there was no doubt in my mind, this time round no real strong feelings either way, I would love a little boy and have had dreams that reflect this. We hopefully find out in just over a week hehe but if this baby is anything like its older sister we may not find out

I really wanted a boy and only really thought about boys names before DS was born...not sure if that's because he was one or not! When I thought about me having the baby and holding it, it just didn't feel like it was a girl.
Funnily enough (and I'm not even pregnant) I feel like my next one will be a boy too!

I only ever dreamt about DS as a boy though i thought in awake times he might be a girl. By the time it came to the scan i had flipflopped back to boy though. I spent my waking hours browsing girls clothes and thinking girls names while the baby dreams were boy boy boy. Subconcious knows best!

Oooooh exciting Bex, not long to wait till your scan!!

I thought all along that we were having a boy last time round, a few people kept saying no it's a girl but I just 'knew' and I was right.

This time, I think I mentally prepared myself for another boy and I was pretty set on it but I kept kind of thinking 'oh, what if.. having one of each would be great' I did think it may have been a girl but maybe didn't want to get my hopes up too much.. I knew DH would have loved a girl so it kind of felt like big pressure as it's our second and last.

I didn't have any gender related dreams, but I have had a few dreams with Justin Beiber in them along the way (and another only last week).. lord only knows why as I can't stand him lol

I always thought DS was a boy but every dream I had about him he was a girl lol with DD at the start I thought she was a girl but about 6 weeks before she was born I thought she was a boy, so really I had no idea lol I didn't have any dreams about a baby during her pregnancy so she obviously wanted to keep me guessing lol

I had NO idea. Not a gut instinct to speak of. I dont' think I had any dreams either way, though... although I definitely dreamed about him as a boy once I knew.

My grandma had a dream about me sitting on the stairs back home and a 'mini me' (girl) crawling around me. And the following week I found out I was UTD and she said I'd have a girl... Had a girl but I had dreams of a boy (maybe because DP was dead set on a boy?)...

With Chelsea I had boy dreams right up till a week before my 20wk scan when I had 2 or 3 girl dreams! I was convinced she was a boy up till then.

This time I haven't had any dreams either way and had no idea! Was secretly hoping for a boy though, and according to the scan it is a boy

I had dreams about both genders, but with both of mine i just knew what i was having. I had very strong feelings both times.

I've always had a feeling you'd have a boy Bex and my guess was wrong with Lexie but i say that guess will be right for this time. Remember me telling you i had a dream you were having a girl last time, which made me wonder if i should have changed my guess. I hope i'm right this time! I'm probably sounding like a weirdo, but oh well.

Oh and i can't believe you're nearly half way already!

I had dreams that I had a girl, but I also dreamed that I had a baby that turned into a doll (twice), so I can't say that my dreams are the most reliable indicators.

I told everyone I had no clue as to what I was having before the scan, but I always secretly thought it was a girl.

Had no idea with DS1, thought Jae was a boy until scan proved otherwise (based entirely on the fact that i felt so sick and had been hospitalised again!) but this time around I was so sure it was a boy that I put boy clothes on layby (they were too cute to pass up!!) at 12 weeks pregnant! Still never got to use them as D was born too bloody long!

Never had dreams about babys gender (mine were always about losing my other kids, like in a flood or something I'd be worrying about wheres the baby, and not having enough hands to 'save' all 3 kids ) but had that 'gut feeling' which is only running on 50% success rate... funny that.

With C I dreamed I gave birth to twin boys....wrong,erm,twice.

With Ty I had a very vivid dream that I gave birth to a daughter called Madelyn Grace

And with Mila ...I dreamt she was a boy,and incidentally, never a baby but an obnoxious teenager.

And all of these dreams I had AFTER finding out the gender, and my babies aren't shy,Ty had his legs open so wide that even Caitlyn, who was 6 said "oh its a boy,Greeeeat" and spent the rest of the afternoon sulking and saying me and DH had done it "on purpose" .

don't think about anything else, the logistics of you having a girl again or anything or what you want to have ....just what do YOU think you are having

With Caden I just knew he was a boy, I didnt get girl vibes at all! With Isabella, I thought she'd be a boy, couldnt see myself with a daughter, my DH said no its a girl, and I started to wonder after I craved all the sweet stuff, but, still thought nope its a boy! so at my scan when they said its a girl I was so shocked! and SO excited I cried and cried! haha. I felt so blessed to have one of each :)

I had no clue last time, both scans at 20 weeks told me it was a girl, but I STILL didn't have any clues, and in fact thought it was wrong at the end. Dh, however, KNEW she was a girl. Dreams, I don't remember, although I think there was both genders involved.

This time, no feelings again, although DH has told me it's a boy, so I'm sticking with that until proven otherwise. I had a dream that it was a boy but I never saw his 'bits', DH just told me it was then 'he' was dressed in the unisex outfit I'd bought the week before, so still up for discussion (like real life, lol!).

I always thought I was having a girl, especially from the heartbeat which at one scan was 180bpm! The night before my 20 week scan I had a dream I was having a boy but she was very much a wee girl! I did get dreams the night before each scan though saying the baby was ok! Sub-consious reassuring a very nervous mother!

This one Im not sure yet and haven't had any dreams about either sex yet.

If I pushed everything aside I definitely lean towards boy this time but its very hard to push everything aside! Heres hoping we can find out this time, I think it would be super bad luck to not be able to find out with both babies, any tricks for making sure babies show it all?

I don't know many people who were having a boy and he hid his bits. Most shy babies that I know of were girls. Maybe it's harder to hide boy bits..Otherwise, try sneak your way in to scoring more scans later on hehe. I had one at 24 weeks and there was NO mistaking his boy-ness and again at 35weeks lol

I only had the one baby dream very early on. It was of me walking down the road in town, heavily pregnant holding on the hand of a little girl of about 2-3 years old.
For some reason, I thought we were having a boy the whole time but out popped DD and she looks exactly as the little girl in the dream did.
Conincedence? Most likely but it was still correct even though my brain said boy from day one.
