Does anyone have some hanging around they want to sell?

DS is a giant baby (just shy of 12lbs at 3weeks) and if he keeps going the way he's going he is going to outgrow his small ittis really quick, too quick to justify buying more new ones but if i can just get my hands on 2 or 3 more he will be in cloth full time during the day and that would be aces...

So, anyone hoarding??

Yea, Jacob is a chubby bubby too, he was out of them pretty quickly. For the record, it might pay not to go too crazy with the mediums either, Jacob moved into larges at eleven weeks. He has really chubby thighs - if Max does too it might pay to keep that in mind

Sorry I can't help with the smalls, we had the OB hire kit and used them while he fitted small nappies.

I used to put DD in mediums well before she was ready cos I didn't have enough smalls. They almost always did the job if I did them up so the side tabs overlapped themselves. I'd just make sure she was in those when I was going to be hanging around the house rather than going out, so on the rare occasions they did leak, it wasn't a big deal.

Aethalia thats a lovely offer, thanks but i'd be terrified he'd poo and totally destroy it or i'd break it in the wash and the colour would go out and i wouldnt be able to replace it etc etc...

Eleven weeks Hopes

Damn, had just convinced his father to half a 12 pack of AIO's with me so i could get a bunch of larges and a couple more mediums but perhaps i should go for the tuttos instead .

T Rex good thinking! I was putting it off because the mediums i have are all limited edition ones and they're so pretty i don't want him to poo on them!

You cant destroy them with poo, it washes out, and you can just use microfleece liners (I will even send you some) the colour doesnt break, it fades over a long period of time in the sunshine, but not in the wash, and if it gets broken then dont worry, as these things happen! Plus I can fix the elastic easily if something happens to it. DD also had mega big thighs but she only grew so fat and has now skinnied down and stil fits mediums well. Also larges on a snap tighter.

edit: and if there does get poos stains- who cares! Its not like you can see them when being worn..... lol

Hey Aethalia, were you after SIO meds?? A few of them need elastic replacing. Got a Tiger one too which the elastic is ok on that. I've replaced Elastic on one so that's all good, I'm just to lazy to replace the rest lol

Also have the same amount of spare inserts, but will have to check if this other person is still interested in them.

AandCsmum- Yes I would love them, however I have to wait a couple of weeks to sort out money issues. If you sell them to someone else in the mean time then that is fine with me, its not like I *need them anyway.........

Can I offer advise, don't hang them like taht, that is how my elastic stretched. I hang them side ways along the line. So three pegs, one on the insert & one on each of the bits that go around the nappy.

I'm not sure if I can be bothered listing them lol Cooper can still fit them just so use them as a short day nappy at the mo.

Was just about to say what AandCsmum suggested! My medium Itti's elastic got stretched that way too. Now I do the same, hang them sideways with 3 pegs.

Karyn from ittibitti recommended hanging like aethalia does, and it's way quicker to use just one peg. I've had to replace the elastic in one lot of second hand nappies, but truthfully it is probably way easier to do that once a year or so than to spend triple the time hanging them out
