I would try scrubbing it with a scubbing brush to remove as much of the mould as possible and then rescrub using white vinegar Or lemon and then leave it in the sun to dry (I'd check on a small piece in case it bleached it tho). That should kill the mould. Once its dry wash in with hot soapy water. (If you can't pull it apart easily just scrub it and leave to dry in the sun)
I'd probably be tempted to put it back together wet to dry (hate for it to shrink while it dries).
I have the same issue with my mountain buggy. The fabric for the MB unclips so I've removed it and I'm going to scrub it with a dettol laundry rinse/hot water solution and leave it in the sun (if we ever get sun here in wellington)
I love bleach! I sprayed my phil and teds with a light bleach solution, left it for half a day (wetting occasionally so that it stayed wet most of the time) and then waterblasted it - worked a treat!! I had DH turn the pressure on the waterblaster down and then did it.
Never noticed any adverse effects and I had a clean stroller!
