I'm not sure which topic this really goes under but thought I'd try my luck here!

So, my GP is currently in the CBD but I think it would be more convenient if I move to one closer to home. I'm not particularly attached to my GP (in fact I will pretty much go to anyone at the practice) so don't mind moving.

What I'm after though is a practice with a GP who I can see, and who I can take my baby to - they don't have to be the same GP but would make sense if they are both at the same practice - I would prefer a woman, but am happy for either for my child. I'm in Tawa so would love for one of the practices here to be suitable but am happy to travel a little bit to get a good practice.

So, does anyone have recommendations on GPs and practices in the Northern Suburbs/Tawa (Wellington)?

I am now at Tawa Medical Centre, and I haven't had to go to the doctors much, but the ones I have seen have been nice.

Brandon Casserly (not sure how to spell that) did Chloe's six week checkup and he was lovely.

I also saw a woman doctor (I think her name was Catherine?) and she was also very nice.

I haven't been to them enough to say that they are the most amazing doctors in the world, but they both seemed like very nice people and I'd go back to them again.

I go to a GP in the city, but last time I went he was away. The lady I saw was called Stephanie Smith. She is based at Johnsonville and was really, really good with Ollie. Very thorough and I really liked her.
