Topic: Babymel nappy bag Posted: 12 November 2009 at 9:06pm |
Hi, I found the nappy bag of my dreams!. Its a babymel white floral nappy bag. I found it on an australian website, and wondered if anyone knows if they are sold in NZ?
Someone mentioned getting one at the recent parent and child show in auckland.
Does anyone know which retailer was selling it?
Otherwise I will have to purchase it from aus. But would rather support an NZ company.
Thanks for any info you can give me.

oooh, I have the brown version. I it. I bought it from a wee shop in Newmarket that's closed down. They were the only NZ retailer I could find 18 months ago.

Janini I saw that www.babybuds.com.au have them, so maybe you could try contacting www.babybuds.co.nz and see if they have them or can get them?
Good luck, they are gorgeous bags!!

Well, today I went into Babystar Welly, and was looking around, just as about to leave. There IT was. THE BAG!
So I brought it. It was so meant to be!
Yes I'm ridiculously excited about a nappy bag.
But it is amazing and beautiful.
Thanks for suggestions tho people.

How funny - I saw this bag in a store in auckland today (I couldn't resist popping in there whilst I was out getting things for work) and was just googling to see if it what price it was available elsewhere just in case and came across this thread!
Doesn't look like it is easy to come across so I am going to go and get it tomorrow as it was the last one there Lucky they put it on hold for me!
I agree, it is gorgeous - I have been looking for a smallish, stylish bag for ages!

Bumping up this thread cos I'm thinking of getting this bag myself - those that have it, how have you found it? Has the white ended up getting quite dirty? Has anyone used it for a toddler and a baby - is it big enough?
Oh, and you can get them from bellybeyond.co.nz in case anyone else is looking

I love my bag, but yes the white is dirty, and I can't seem to get some of the marks off. I wonder if jiff would work, but worried it might be to abrasive. If I were to buy again I would get a darker coloured one. But I do love the pattern.
In general the bag is fantastic. Great amount of pockets that fit everything you need in it.
Although in saying that I'm about to start using a handbag for short outings now. Nappy bag for day outings.

You can get them at pregoli.co.nz too.
I've been trying to decide if I can justify spending that much on a bag...still undecided!

Hehe Mealz, yeah, DH was a bit when I said how much it cost! It's way more than I'd usually spend, but my current one has broken, and I figure I'm going to use it every single time I go out for the next few years at least, so over 3 years it's not so bad, eh?
Plus, the one I have now is ugly and I want a nice one seeing as I take it everywhere!! I figure it's one of the pros of going back to work - I can afford a few nice things.

It looks amazing And I totally agree - in a dollars per use sense, it's a bargain.

The white on mine has a few marks on it aswell - haven't tried to get them off yet! The black one looks nice too, I didn't see that one when I bought mine.
I have had so many comments on the bag aswell

For those that were interested in this bag but didn't like the price (ME!!), I've found a shop in the UK that will ship to NZ for GBP5.50.
The total for the bag and shipping with the current exchange rate is about $110 so a massive savings from the $180 I've seen it advertised for over here.
Check out www.cecilyplum.co.uk
They are really nice to deal with too!!

Ohh that is a really good price. I want one, but can't decide between the white or bronze.
Any suggestions?
