Okay so I want to go into part time study with Massey uni but need to get DD1 into daycare.
As far as I can understand we qualify for the 9 hours of subsidised care but is it still available if I am only part time studying and also could I get the up to 50 hours subsidised..?
Also do I have to apply for it, or is it an automatic thing..

This stuff confuses me and when I called them they made it worse!!!

TIA

For me just recently I applied for childcare subsidy, still waiting to hear back, but you need to go in or ring up Working for Families and get the childcare subsidy form - then you need to get your uni and daycare to sign it off and send it back to Working for Families, but they are taking aaaages for me lol, so I can update when I have more info haha, if you call they can post you a form

They usually give you the childcare subsidy for the amount of hours you are studying for and travel if studying parttime. You will have to get a confirmation of enrolment from Massey (once you are enrolled) and take that with you when you take in the forms to apply.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
