Topic: Hotmilk bras Posted: 30 November 2010 at 8:59am |
Does anyone know if their sizing is pretty much standard or if they are smaller or larger fitting than usual?
Apparently I'm not supposed to wear underwire for too much longer and I only have 2 bras that aren't underwire so need to get some, found some hot milk ones on sale online but my measurements v their sizing chart makes no sense!

I found they were all over the place tbh. I bought 3 in 'my size' and only one fit. but in saying that, one of the other 2 was great for an overnight bra because i leaked so much, that i had 2 maternity 'surfboard' AF pads down my bra and they stayed where they were meant too lol.
but the one that fits still does and it makes my boobs look great lol.
but definitely do what is says about an F cup fiting an E and so on... (after DD size) that was my problem though, I was DD-E and i got a DD and an E, and the E was MILES too big. (2 pads too big lol) and my boobs got HUGE. (they got to large E size, but bra was still too big)
oh and my chest measurement was still spot on. - that was for a 16.
anyway HTH!

It does, thanks! I have a feeling it might be too big but at $12 for a $60 bra I thought I'd take a chance on one and see what it is like before getting anymore.
Thanks again!

I found for me that I had to make sure I pulled the tape really tight when measuring for ribcage size. I guess you do that for every bra type though.
Send us a link, I had a few bra's from them so I could give you an indication on the fitting?

I wanted a 10B once my milk settled (am normally a 10b) and they only had 8C which is apparently the same size but for me one fits perfect and the other is baggy (so to me it depends on the material they use).
I would get a proper sizing done and you're probably best to just wear non underwire from say farmers or where ever (a sports bra maybe) and buy your BFing ones once baby comes and your milk comes in etc.
I bought my BF bras in size C but they didn't fit because I ended up DD but now my boobs have settled I am back to pre preg size.

According to the Hotmilk measurement chart I was something crazy like a 14C, but I've never ever worn a bra that size. I tried them on in my normal size (10F) and they were spot on! I find the 3/4 cup bras to be slightly smaller fitting so would potentially go for the 10G if I got another 3/4 cup but the full cup ones fit perfectly...and I love them! They are so supportive, and so sexy!

I wait for the sales too, $50 is too much imo! Especially if you don't know how long you'll last BFing for.

Well I was expecting it to be huge because the closest they had to my size was a 10DD (have been wearing either 12C or 10D) but they fit perfectly, bonus!
