 Topic: Book recommendations

I am loving my books at the moment I just finished John Grishams new one The Confession which I enjoyed and also just read Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult which was also a good read. So what are you reading at the moment or have read recently that you would recommend? Would love to know some other authors to look out for, I am sick of Danielle Steel now I have read just about all of her books now I think lol!

If you like Jodi Picoult and have read all her books, I would recommend looking into Kristin Hannah. Another author i like in a similar genre (more romance though) is Barbara Delinsky

I'm also loving David Baldacci books at the moment.

Thanks Kim, I have only read that one and My sisters keeper, will keep an eye out for some more and those other 2 authors as well. CrazyCass I have read a few, the runaway jury comes to mind and the firm, I didnt think I would like that genre of book but they are a really good read. Have you read the confession yet? Excellent book!

If you like John Grisham, you might like Richard North Patterson, quite political, but good story lines, I've just read Balance of power by him.
Also I've really enjoyed Susan Howatch lately, Cashelmara and The high Flyer.

Just trying to remember the name of the guy...um, he does books with Alex Cross as the lead, some have been made into movies (Kiss the girls and Along came a spider) um....whats his name. James Patterson! Finally!
But def keep reading Jodi Piccoult, she's wick. Plain Truth is a really good one as well

A light hearted funny series to read is by Janet Evanovich about a women bounty hunter.

The Bronze Horseman series by Paullina Simons is fantastic.
I also love the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris  Its the Trueblood tv show but the books are alot better

The Persimmon Tree by Bryce Courtney is another goodie
Or Crosstitch by Diana Gabaldon is an easy to read romance, not normally my kind of book but I've read it about 10 times!

Jodi Picoult - Nineteen Minutes (although the ending is a bit meh tbh)
and Dean Koontz is my fave author read Lightning.

If you like John Grisham, you would love the Lee Child.. Jack reacher series..... be careful tho.. once you start you cant stop... they are addictive!!!

I find that Jodi Picoults start to be a bit repetitive, sure the main theme is different, but the structure,all the same .
Family dilemma/tragedy often close friends involved, court case, usually found not guilty , friendship never resolved blah blah blah the end.
Marian Keyes is good, some of her books are better than others,but they are easy to read

I've found that too. I loved them at the beginning but haven't bothered with the last 4 she has released.
As a fluffy read I like sinead moriarty and the Lee Child books are always good.
