 Topic: where to get xmas dress ups?

my daughter LOVES dressing up! so wanted to get her a girly cute xmassy dress/costume! but not having much luck! any suggestions of where to shop on line for them without having to spend an arm and leg!
we are in auckland just in case someone knows a shop

If you are in Auckland, Geoff's Emporium have lots of dress up stuff & cheap so its worth checking out if you are in AK.

I saw some little Christmas outfits at K-Mart, but not sure if they were just baby sizes or if they had older kids' sizes too...

thanks for the replys ladies......
i cant find any on trade me theres one but the size is wrong! lol maybe im looking in the wrong bit?
Geoffs Emporium burnt down a couple of months ago not sure if they are back open yet...... hopefully they will open again i loved that shop for all our crafty stuff!
kmart will have to venture out one day soon! i have heard there normal dress ups are meant to be quite cheap! :)
downtown warehouse has sold out of santa costumes as was looking online and sent hubby to look after work.... adult ands kids ones were only $5!!!!! classic

there's another Geoffs too on Sandringham road more central auckland, so depending on where you live could be worth a shot. What about spotlight? I know from time to time they have things

oh wow i didnt know that! i thought it was only the one out west! i will defiantly have to go check it out!
does any one know of any web sites ive been looking at booti tutu and the nappy botique and found one or four i wanted lol but are mostly sold out :S

My friend Julia owns both those businesses Charlotteandhuntersmummy, if you send her a message and let her know what you want I'm sure she will be able to help you out, she has made some very cute xmas tutus lately - wish I had a girl they are soooo gorgeous!

wow...I took DH in there & it was like Aladdin's cave, lol am going back to get some craft stuff for xmas...& same here on the girl thing after 3 boys I so want one

LOL sorry about that Ive been doing local markets this month and keep sellling out of everything. What were you after? Im doing an order with my supplier for the Ready made tutus, and I have tulle that I can custom make you something- just send me an email :)

There is a discount shop (like a $2 shop) next to Whitcoulls in Auckland CBD, it is huge and has an enormous range of xmas stuff including costumes.

Here is the Santa suit I just made for Oliver. Well I still have to finish the top but I thought It would be really cute to take some pics with just the pants and hat.
I am going to make a dress for my DD as well, she is 6 but about the size of a 4 year old.
