Since my period returned after having DS they are anything from 26-37 days. However they were irregular after I came off the BCP before conceiving him (I was on the BCP for 10yrs prior to that) so I think it is just me.

Is there anything you can do/take to regulate your cycle?

I think some of the girls on here were using Vitex, correct me if i'm wrong, but thats meant to regulate your cycles.

I was going to start taking it, thought it might help me with TTC but i heard it can cause MC's so i haven't taken it.

Vitex can help regulate your hormones, and it worked for me but I had much much more irregular cycles (i.e. 40-90+ days). Maybe your better to try charting ya temp for awhile to see if/when your oving before taking supplements.

I had irregular cycles before getting pregnant, usually 40 days but sometimes in the 30s. I took vitex but I found it didn't do anything for me personally. It's one of those works for some people, not for others things. You could give it a go and see, but you need to take it for 3 months before really knowing if it's helping.

I have heard healthy eating and exercise can really help to regulate the cycle. I had my bloods done just in case to check there were no other problems so might be worth doing that as well.

I had irregular cycles (29-42 days) but i charted and found that my LP was actually the same each month (14 days) and it was just the time up until i ov'd that differed each month so i didnt do anything to help it along.

It's pretty normal to have irregular cycle lengths, mine can vary from 22 to 32 days and my gynae isn't concerned about it. As Heaf says it is your LP that is usually the same every month and I would recommend charting so that you can start tracking what your cycle is actually doing.
