Looking for opinions.
When Willow was born her spilling was not the bad but as she got older it got worse and worse. You would give her a bottle, she would have a spill or two while burping and would keep spilling consently (sp?) the whole time she was up, rolling/crawling around. So at 8 months we changed her to a thicken formula which helped a bit. So a week later we put her onto a dairy free diet which did the trick. No more spilling!
That was until last Tuesday when the spilling came back, and as each day has gone on its continued to get worse.
Willow is still dairy free and on the thicken formula.
Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts, opinions of why this is happening??
Oh, also, she isn't upset with the spilling, my problem was the fact it was getting worse as she got old not better.

Thanks for listening/reading.

Have you started her on solids? Or introduced a new type of food around that time?

Might be time to get her to a doctor or similar? And in my experience... ask, ask again and keep asking until you get a satisfactory answer! Our little guy pretty much stopped spilling by around 6 months I think, and we had used the Karicare thickener for quite a while with EBM bottles and later with his baby rice and apple etc.

a close friend's daughter kept spilling well beyond 6 months and trusting her mother's instinct she ended up pushing and pushing for tests, which then meant her daughter diagnosed with a gastro problem which needed further treatment.

Not trying to be scary, just to recommend that it might be time to get her 'seen to'.. love and luck!

I have to agree go to the dr and ask for some medication. I found that with the AR formula it made Jayden's spilling worse and not better.

Where's she at mobility-wise? Cooper's spilling started around the same time as he started rolling, then got progressively worse when he started commando crawling and I think settled a bit when he started crawling a month or so ago and just in the last week or two since he's been standing and moving around furniture heaps it seems to have stopped. So I'm thinking what he does activity-wise also might impact on him. But then again Cooper's seems to have stopped right around the time Willow's did, so maybe it will start up again in a couple of months too?

Thanks everyone.

No new foods or changes in diet.
Willow started walking last Wednesday so she is up right pretty much all the time.

Will go make an appt now with the doc.

Thanks again.
