I am just wondering if anyone in the auckland area has any surplus neocate LCP (pink one) that they would sell me.

We are still waiting on our special authority number for Oliver and are onto our last sample can. The doctor has said he can't give us any more as he has givin us all of his supply now.

I will only be home until lunch time today and then i am leaving to go into the city for the night, so if you have any could you let me know before then as I live out in waiuku and don't know when I will be in the city next..

If you have a couple of cans you don't need i would be really grateful. at this stage i am thinking i will have to either give him the can of soy formula in the cupboard which he is allergic to or try goat milk until the number comes. (the doctor thought it would be ready by now, already been 12 days)

TIA

I've only got Neocate Advance, which is for 12 mths plus, but you're welcome to a tin if you think it's better than nothing. Have you tried the Nutricia helpline, to see if they'll give you some?

I just rang up the nutricia people and after being told to ring 4 different people i finally got through to the lady that handles the neocate and she said they can only give it to a doctor and not to the general public.

I have only just got my special authority number thru but it did take 14 days all up.

Did you see a paed? They should be able to get some more for you.

I only have advanced too but I am in ChCh anyway.

If you cant get hold of a tin ild go with the goats milk instead of soy.
DD was ment to be on the neocate because of her reflux/intolerances etc but refused to drink it so goats was the next best thing - she reacted to soy to. Goats isnt cheap though. Its gone up to $42 a tin :s

yeah oliver reacts to soy as well thats why there is still an unopened tine here lol. $42 is still cheaper than $125 for a can of neocate from the pharmacy that is only half the size.

I have a spare pink tin, I'm happy to throw it on the courier for you today but you won't get it til monday.

Phone up your GP & get them to chase it for you. I got seen by the Paed on the 19th & got my number in the mail yesterday.

I'm going out soon but if you PM me or message me on Facebook I can do it this arvo for you. You can just pay for the courier. So if you want Sat delivery just let me know & I can put it on that.

I wouldn't use goats either. We were using it but the Pead said to us that 80-90% of kids that react to dairy also react to goats milk and 40-50% of kids that react to dairy also react to soy.

I would def get in touch with the DR or Paed and get them to follow up ASAP or at least get them to get in touch with someone to get more to pass on to you.
