Ben was 1yo earlier this month and he has already cut 14 teeth and #15 looks like it will cut soon. He has had a terrible time of it since he cut his first tooth mid-Jan, often cutting several teeth within days of eachother. Sleep for us both has been very limited! I am hoping that #15 and 16 will cut soon and we will have a break till his 2yo molars.

For those of you who had children who got all their teeth quickly like Ben has, did the 2yo molars come along straight after or was their a gap and they cut closer to 2yrs?

Oh interesting topic, will be curious to see this. DS has 6 teeth at 6 months, and I was wondering how fast the rest of them will come in and will they all be ahead of the normal time frames..

Sorry to say that Samantha was just like that with her teeth and her two year old molars started the minute teeth No 15/16 were in. She had all her two year old molars by the time she was 18 months old!

If it makes you feel any better we are going through the same with Anthony. He is 8 months old and is currently getting No's 5&6. And yes our sleep is very limited these days as well. Pamol is my best friend!

Same with Jake - 2yo molars by 18 months - no gaps. We were lucky in that he teethed pretty easily but it looks like Tyler may possibly be going the same way and hes not making it easy at all!

Oh, and here I was hoping for a break!!! DD had her 16 teeth by 14 months old, got the last 5 in less than a month, poor thing! No sign of the 2nd molars yet though.

That said, perhaps they are bothering her, and I'm just putting it down to normal toddler grumpiness...

You might get a break.

DS had 16 teeth by 10months. Then we got a break until about 18 months and we had all his teeth by about 20-21months.

Have you tried the teethmed spray?? It is the only thing that stopped Miss S going feral while those molars were coming through!

Yeah we are using TeethMed, Bonjela and Pamol. He just seems to really have trouble settling to sleep and ends up in our bed every night. At the moment he is cutting a molar and has 2 other teeth moving up, his gums are all swollen

Jack had all by 17-18 months I think. He had a pretty rough time, they think that's how he caught his bone infection (through bleeding gums while cutting 4 teeth in a day).

We used Pamol, bonjela, nurofen and teething powder every day around him cutting a tooth and he stil woke 5 times a night.

Sorry to threadjack, but can you use bonjela and pamol close together? I assumed you had to pick one and wait until it had worn off before trying another - so wait 3 hours after bonjela before trying pamol?

Well I use them together. Generally Ben has Pamol after dinner and up to 1/2hr later I give him Bonjela. Never heard that I couldn't use them together

I hadn't heard it anywhere, I just assumed... Well if I can use them together then that's good! Bonjela just wasn't enough on Monday, so next time that tooth pops up (it keeps going back down!) hopefully he won't scream randomly throughout the day. Cause that sucks.

Jelly Lily has 3 teeth doing that but one that is just hanging around and is visible just hasn't erupted through yet (the PN told me off for saying popped "The correct term is 'erupted' not 'popped' please")

Lily usually settles with jut Bonjela, and generally one dose is enough for her, makes me think the tooth is a long way off.

Lol at your PN Nic! I don't think the babies care whether you say "erupt" or "pop", do you? I'd probably talk about teeth popping up every time I saw her if my PN said that. Then again, I'm a giant pain in the backside
